ST:LV 61: TREK TO VEGAS
August 4-8, 2027
Rio Hotel & Casino
3700 W Flamingo Road
Las Vegas, NV 89103

Dear fellow Star Trek Fans:

Today as we are joyfully announcing the upcoming celebration of 61 years of Star Trek coming to LAS VEGAS, we are fondly remembering all the legendary stars and unique memories we’ve all made over the last 40 plus years of Creation Star Trek events. We’ve always tried to live up to Roddenberry’s hopes of an inclusive shared future that celebrates diversity, and we’ve tried to have our conventions reflect that community of ideals. In a world so separated, Star Trek and what it stands for really resonates for us more than ever.

With all that in mind, and coming off the 60th which was truly an amazing experience this past August, we are ready to go! First let’s take a brief look at some of the highlights of the 2026 edition of ST:LV.

Trek to Broadway: The Masters Edition

The stars truly came out on Thursday night. Talent from across the Trek spectrum, from shows new and old, sang their hearts out and gave the audience a performance to remember.

Galaxy Quest Reading

About a dozen Star Trek and sci-fi stars performed a hysterical reading of this fan-favorite movie in front of a packed house. We’ve heard rumor that some people are still laughing, two months later.

Saturday Night Gala

Three legendary composers – Jeff Russo, Cliff Eidelman, and Nami Melumad – guested on stage, joining the 40-piece orchestra and our esteemed Conductor Emiritus, Dick McGee, to perform many of the most powerful and memorable Star Trek tracks of the past 60 years.

Chase Masterson’s Happy Hour Lounge Act and 60th Anniversary Celebration

Chase Masterson and her band performed their lounge act in the Lounge Stage in front of a packed audience with ten Original Series actors in attendance for the Happy Hour celebration in their honor.

Enterprise 25th Reunion

Over 25 Star Trek Enterprise actors, writers, directors, producers, and crew were in attendance to celebrate this fabulous show’s 25th anniversary. There were several entertaining panels on stage, group photo ops, and a Saturday evening Happy Hour event featuring the Enterprise Blues Band.

The Eras Cosplay Contest

Something new was tried last year. To celebrate Star Trek’s 60th, we held individual cosplay contests all five days, with each day being focused on a specific Era, and the fans really showed up and showed out for this one, as we knew they would. As always, the fans delivered and made this new concept a big hit.

Celebrating 60 Years of Diversity

With 60 years of Star Trek, 5 convention days, and three unique stages, STLV is always chock full of panels embracing and celebrating diverse panels. 2026 was no exception. Creation endeavors to continue to highlight diversity, just like Star Trek has, at every show.

A Non-Human Celebrity

Quite possibly our biggest non-human celebrity ever was in attendance at STLV 2026. The original enterprise ship model that sat on Gene Roddenberry’s desk was brought to STLV by Rod Roddenberry and his team at Roddenberry Entertainment. To say the ship was a popular sight would be an understatement. We are still in awe of this addition and we thank the Roddenberry team for making it happen.

And so much more…

Plus, there were tons free movie screenings, outstanding main stage panels, Inglorious Treksperts programming — and over 150 guests, from newcomers James Cromwell, John Rhys-Davies, and Jack Quaid, to favorites like William Shatner, George Takei, and Scott Bakula! There was also this fun moment in which eight members of Lower Decks were finally reunited on stage!

Now, all of us at Creation, are proud to open up ST:LV 61: TREK TO VEGAS for GOLD SEATING (the best way to attend the full five days of the convention!)

SPECIAL GUESTS

We are happy to announce our first guest for ST:LV – Trek to Vegas 61, and of course, it is the legendary actor who brought us “Captain Kirk,” William Shatner! More announcements will come soon.

Having the chance to get in-person autographs from the stars is one of the real benefits in attending our convention. REMINDER: Most guests will sign almost any item you bring from home, or you can buy an item at the convention; please have an item for the guest to sign. One autograph ticket equals one autograph and only ONE PERSON can approach the table for their autograph. Click here to see how the autograph process works!

For photos, your ONE photo op ticket includes an 8×10 glossy full color photo of yourself with the guest and can include up to TWO fans (1 photo op tix = 2 fans in one photo). TWO photo op tickets can include up to FOUR fans in a photo (2 photo op tix = 4 fans in one photo). We cannot, however, accommodate over FOUR fans in any one photo op. Click here to see how the photo op process works!

Creation Entertainment does not advertise any talent without written permission from the talent or their representation. Be sure of which day a guest is doing photo ops/autographs before purchasing your admission tickets. You must have an admission ticket for the day of your photo op and/or autograph.
