Mary McDonnell (President Laura Roslin)

Mary McDonnell received so much acclaim for her role as President Laura Roslin on Battlestar Galactica that she and co-star Edward James Olmos were once invited to speak in a discussion and retrospective at the United Nations. Her talent has gotten her Emmy and Academy Award nominations for productions including Dancing with Wolves, ER, and Passion Fish. After Battlestar Galactica, she went on to star alongside Kyra Sedgwick in The Closer and later was the lead in the show’s spinoff Major Crimes. Most recently, she could be found on the Netflix series The Fall of the House of Usher for director Mike Flanagan. We are excited to invite her to another Creation event!
