TIMES OF EVENT: Please note that the specific hours of the conventions are dependent on guest flight itineraries and because we are dealing with actors who are often filming we do not know these itineraries until much closer to the convention date. As a generalization, but not a guarantee this early, we usually will have preregistration on Thursday night for those coming all three days (not a necessity but a convenience) and Friday programming begins around noon and ends at about 6 pm with autographs and Karaoke into the evening. Saturday we usually start about 9am and run until about 7pm with autographs and the Saturday Party running until late evening. Sunday we usually start early and autographs, depending on guests, can run into the evening. We always suggest that if you don’t want to miss any autographs on Sunday that you plan on staying late or staying over in the hotel Sunday night. Once again, these times are totally tentative as we do not yet know the flights of the guests.
What better place to spend a vacation in icy and cold month of December than in the glorious city of ORLANDO! We're mere steps away from Downtown Disney and our recently renovated hotel is wonderful to stay in for that reason and many more! Spend extra time around the convention to enjoy the attractions, and what better way to warm up those three days of our show than by spending them with the sensational stars we all love!
ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END: It is bittersweet for us to announce that this is the last visit to ORLANDO for The Vampire Diaries Official Convention. If you've wanted to come to Orlando to join the TVD and The Originals fun THIS IS IT, so let's raise the roof one last time!
Please keep in mind that unlike virtually EVERY other fan convention we never sell ONE ticket more than we have seats in the theatre, so EVERYONE, no matter their type of ticket, is guaranteed a seat to see the stars and events they want, without worry, extra waiting, or hassles: JUST FUN! We want your vacation to be the absolute best which is why we generally limit attendance to about 1,000 or so and are able to offer a lot of star/fan interaction. ADA Rules on service animals: This event welcomes service animals as per The ADA rules. Service animals perform valuable work or tasks and are trained to provide help directly related to a person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and therefore are not permitted at our event.
All guests are announced when contracted, and all convention contracts include clauses allowing actors to cancel if they get film and/or television work. In the rare case of a guest cancellation we always try to do our best to replace performers. We cannot, however, refund tickets for a convention admission based on a guest cancellation, beyond of course specific autograph and/or photo op tickets which are not included in packages.
For those attending our conventions and making travel plans: please know that the majority of guests that appear on stage do so usually in the later part of the day (although that is sometimes different for actors working on a current series). Sometimes autographing runs into the evening or later when guests appear late in the day. Because we have to wait for guests to give us their flight information we cannot tell you in advance when these autograph sessions will occur until the convention schedule is posted at this website a few days before the event. For those out of towners that want to guarantee autographs of stars appearing on Sunday we do suggest staying over or planning a later leaving time. More recently both Jensen and Jared's autographs have occurred starting around 6:30pm Sunday though there is no guarantee of that for this particular show.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL! We do suggest buying tickets only from the original source: through this website. Because all tickets are scanned for use at the convention we can ONLY allow the first person in using each singular ticket. Autograph and photo op tickets are also scanned for one time use. WE’VE NOTICED A PICKUP IN BOGUS TICKETS and well-meaning fans being ripped off by those that have just resold copied tickets.
Flashes occur from phone and cameras often during stage presentations. If you are sensitive to such lighting please be advised to take the necessary precautions. For our attendees please keep flash photography to a minimum and try to learn how to get the best pictures in different lighting situations. Generally flash is not the best way to take photos at the convention. We will attempt to have a more detailed note page of getting the best pictures at conventions available soon.

YOUR HOST/MC FOR THE CONVENTION
We’re happy to welcome talented Micah Parker as the convention host/MC for the entire convention including Friday Night’s Karaoke Party and Saturday Night’s rock concert. His enthusiastic on-stage demeanor and his friendship with our other guest stars are sure to make the convention even more fun! Micah, of course, has played the character of Adrian on three episodes of The Vampire Diaries.

Our Saturday Night Cast Celebration Concerts have proven to be a giant hit with audiences as they let us all see our guests LIVE and IN PERSON entertaining! The concert is complimentary for GOLD, SILVER AND COPPER WEEKEND PATRONS and for all others, tickets are only $30.
The Saturday Night Celebration Concert Party at this event features our house band, Samurai Fish with Chase Coleman, plus celebrity guests including Zach Roerig, Micah Parker, Matthew Davis and hopefully more. All guest participants are totally tentative and more should be added as we get closer.
If you choose to drink at this convention (if you are of age) please do so responsibly as hotel security is on duty. A cash bar where age is checked is available at the convention.
Note: The first rows will be removed for standing so held seats during the day to not apply to this event. There will be room to sit, however, for those that prefer to, in the back and the show is still quite visible and enjoyable.
THE "SATURDAY NIGHT CELEBRATION" CONCERT TICKET IS NOT A DAYTIME CONVENTION TICKET. IT IS A TICKET TO THE "SATURDAY NIGHT CELEBRATION" CONCERT ONLY. You do not need a daytime convention ticket in order to attend the nighttime show. Just this nighttime show ticket.

A VERY special half-hour event is planned exclusively for our Gold Weekend Patrons! Please note that generally the first rows are removed so this is a non-reserved seat function, there are seats in the back however for those that just want to sit back and enjoy!
Times will be announced in the schedules. If you want to sing, please sign up during the Karaoke sign-up time which will be posted in our schedule. Groups are limited to 4 people (please make sure to include the individual names of all the people in your group) and if multiple people sign up for the same song, only one slip will be chosen at random. While signing up in advance is not a guarantee you will be called to sing, you must sign up during the sign-up time as there will be no sign-ups during the party.
Note: of course you don’t have to come themed in pajama wear: it’s just if you want to!
Please note the appropriate drinking age in the convention city you are attending. The hotel bartenders card for proper age. Please drink responsibly, if you choose to drink, at the parties.

One of the coolest highlights of the convention is the running of fan-produced music videos honoring THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, its themes and characters. If you are a talented video editor now is your chance to show off your creativity and vie for prizes at The Vampire Diaries: The Official Convention Tour 2016.
Rules: one music video about THE VAMPIRE DIARIES may be submitted on DVD only (please no computer-based media like CD accepted). PLEASE USE ONLY NTSC FORMAT FOR YOUR DVD. Entries are judged on the following criteria: video quality, audio quality, editing quality, inventiveness, song selection, and originality. Humorous submissions are encouraged. Entries cannot be returned, and person submitting entry is granting Creation the right to play this entry in perpetuity at Creation events worldwide and/or online at the Creation website(s). Creation does not sell music videos so your entry will never be sold as a commercial product, just presented at our events/online.
Winners will receive a $100 gift certificate good for Creation merchandise (Creation merchandise only, excludes convention, autograph and photo-op tickets). Winners will be announced and certificates awarded on site. Send your video using order confirmation or signature required in order to know if it arrived. We do not announce winners until the event. Note: Due to the high volume of entries for our Music Video Contests, we are forced to limit entries to those people actually attending the specific show they are entering for. You do not have to be present for the actual showing of your video, but you must claim your award on site before the end of the weekend or your award will be forfeited. There have been too many people who unfortunately are copying their scannable tickets and reselling them to unsuspecting patrons. We turn away any ticket that comes up SCANNED ALREADY and will let ONLY the first person in.
The only way to avoid this issue is NOT to buy tickets from anywhere but Creation’s website or at the convention itself at registration.
Please note: if you have autographs in a package you have purchased you are free to “gift” these to other people as long as they have some sort of admission ticket to the convention. Special exclusive events like Ian and Paul’s private Gold Session and free admission to the Evening Ball for certain packages should not be resold as the lanyard card and wristband must match for complimentary entrance to these events.

Note that this event is a non-reserved seating one so chairs are removed from the front and it is first come first served in terms of location as to where you stand. For those that don’t want to stand there are always seats available in the rear.

You get the same reserved seat ALL three days to the convention. You get access to preregistration (not a necessity, just a convenience), plus you get a great reserved seat that is yours, come and go, all weekend for the daytime events in the theatre where all the guests and main attractions occur and admission to the vendors room as well. Plus, admission to the free FRIDAY NIGHT KARAOKE PARTY hosted by Micah Parker and featuring generally the guests that appear on Friday though others sometimes show up: you really never know who is in town early enough to make it! You also get complimentary admission to the SATURDAY NIGHT CELEBRATION CONCERT featuring celebrities in a night of performance: you'll love! Info on the website for this convention event and admission to YOU is absolutely FREE! A cash bar is available for attendees of age, soft drinks for others or adults who prefer. Please note that seats are removed from the front of the theatre to allow for a more intimate concert experience. There are seats in the back for those that would rather sit and relax and enjoy. Creation Entertainment holds a "block" of rooms for our attendees. These blocks of rooms have a lower rate than standard rates at the hotel, but they also have a "cut-off" point after which hotels may choose to revert back to their own higher rates for our customers. Usually this cut-off date is one month prior to the event, but this does vary. Therefore it is always wise to book your rooms for our conventions as early as possible.

Thanks for being with us! We really appreciate your visit and want to make sure you have the absolute best time! With that in mind a few rules to keep everyone safe:
1) PHOTO TAKING is from your seats only, don’t rush the stage when guests appear. NO SELFIE STICKS! Please limit flash (which does not make your photos better unless you are in the first few rows) photography. Those with sensitivity to flash please be aware that it does occur. Photos taken at our events are for PERSONAL USE ONLY.
2) PHOTO OPS are done on a first come/first taken basis with any exceptions noted within this schedule, including Backstage VIPs who can go first. PLEASE be on time as they move very quickly and once the photo op session is over, we cannot repeat. Special poses are at the discretion of the actors and could be based on flights, scheduling or other issues. Please do not ask for separate hugs or tell personal stories. Time consuming pose set-ups, costumes and/or props may not be permitted. PHOTO OPS may be picked up in the photo pick up area when available. Full information on when photos will be ready is on a hand-out available in the photo op room. Personal photo-taking is not allowed in the photo op room at any time. Please put cell phones away when you’re in the photo ops room. We try our best to catch light glare on glasses, but it is extremely difficult to detect during the session. Be advised that we cannot be responsible for glare if you choose to leave your glasses on in your photo. Photo ops may be used for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Each photo op ticket can include up to two fans and you are allowed to have up to four fans (two tickets required) in one photo. We cannot accommodate more than four fans in any one photo. If you are accompanying a fan, but will not be in the photo, you must wait outside of the photo ops room unless you are with a minor or assisting someone with special needs, then you may wait on the other side of the room.
3) AUTOGRAPHING: Please have your items for signature out and ready during autograph sessions. Personalizing is at the discretion of the celebrity signing and/or may be affected by guest flights or other scheduling issues. You must bring something to have signed, either from home or an item purchased on site. Photo-taking of the celebrity guests during autograph sessions is not allowed. Only those with an autograph ticket may go up to the autograph table. If you are accompanying a fan, but do not have an autograph ticket, you must wait in another area until the process is finished, unless you are with a minor or assisting someone with special needs, then you may wait on the other side of the autograph area. If you have trouble standing let us know, if you are in a wheelchair or scooter please go with your row or by your number. Celebrities have the right to refuse to sign items that are deemed inappropriate.
4) VOLUNTEERS: Our volunteers are here to help you and we thank them for doing so. However, if you have an issue with ANYONE or ANYTHING please let Stephanie or Monica know during the convention so they can solve the problem. They can’t help immediately if you don’t tell them on-site when it happens. Monica and Stephanie can be found through registration. Just ask!
5) SEATING: Please sit ONLY in the seat you paid for.
6) AUDIO/VIDEO: At the request of our guests, no video or audio capturing or LIVE STREAMING!
7) CELL PHONES: Please turn cell phones off or set to vibrate and kindly refrain from talking when theatre is active.
8) Q&As: ONLY ONE QUESTION MAY BE ASKED TO A CELEBRITY BY A FAN. PLEASE NO PERSONAL STORIES ABOUT YOURSELF, ASKING FOR HUGS, OR TELLING THEM WHY YOU LOVE THEM (that’s why we’re all here!). And please, no BIRTHDAY requests! As you are representing all of us, kindly make your question a good well-thought-out one and perhaps something the guests have not been asked before. If you are in the question line, stand all the way to the side, as to not block the view of others. Q&A sessions start at the listed time and end at the listed time of the next stage activity.
9) AUTOGRAPH & PHOTO OP TICKETS: Please purchase autographs, photo ops & printed photos during Vendors Room hours! Tickets & merchandise will not be available once closed.
10) DRINK RESPONSIBLY: If you plan on having alcoholic beverages during our parties, the hotel BARTENDERS WILL BE CARDING and PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY! Don’t ruin your experience by overdoing it! UNDERAGE DRINKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. SHOULD UNDERAGE DRINKING OCCUR OR WE BELIEVE IT IS OCCURING OR IF YOU APPEAR INTOXICATED, HOTEL SECURITY WILL BE CALLED. OUTSIDE ALCOHOL OR BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED.
11) PRIVATE MEET & GREETS will almost always start on time and if you miss it, we cannot make up the time. Potential conflicts are posted in the schedule, so PLEASE make sure you follow the instructions in your meet & greet listing. If you need assistance, please let us know!
12) SECOND-HAND TICKETS: We don’t recommend buying tickets from anywhere but the Creation website or registration. All scannable tickets are checked and we can only allow the first one that goes through. After that, tickets with the same sku will come up as previously scanned. As of late, there have been more nice fans being taken advantage of when buying secondhand tickets, so please be careful as there is nothing we can do if your ticket shows up as previously scanned.
13) LOST OR MISPLACED ITEMS: As with any ticketed event, we are not responsible for lost or misplaced tickets. We cannot replace autograph or photo op tickets that are purchased at the convention, so PLEASE make sure your tickets are kept in a safe and secure place. THANKS!
14) CURRENCY: Please note that all expenditures at the convention for tickets, merchandise, photo ops, etc. are done in American dollars and will be converted as such on your credit cards. The prices may vary depending on the rate of exchange at the time your credit card is processed, if you are not from America.
15) HARASSMENT POLICY: Creation is dedicated to providing a safe and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age or religion. We firmly believe in the ideals of one of our mentors, Star Trek’s creator, Gene Roddenberry. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind from anyone. Patrons violating these rules may be expelled from the convention (without a refund) at Creation’s discretion and hotel security may be called in to facilitate this response. If you have any issues with anyone, please ask to speak to Monica or Stephanie immediately. All of them are available on-site and can be reached through registration or by the convention MC/Host. Issues of this importance should not be handled by our volunteers, as great as they are.
16) SMOKE-FREE: We are a smoke-free environments, which includes the use of e-cigs and vapor.
