Also on hand for the convention weekend will be these talented supporting stars. They will participate in on-stage events and be present in the vendors area to meet fans and sign autographs for a nominal fee. BARRIE INGHAM - Danilo O'Dell in TNG's "Up the Long Ladder", Barrie was the voice of Basil of Baker Street in Walt Disney's Basil, the Great Mouse Detective. He has appeared on television in Dr. Who, The Avengers, The A-Team, Murder She Wrote and scores of others, and on film inThe Day of the Jackal. He starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love (both in London and on Broadway), as well as Jekyll and Hyde, Gypsy and Camelot. He was most recently seen in the TV mini-series The Triangle. STAR TREK FEATURE FILM UPDATEWe'll be covering the latest news on the movie we're all eagerly awaiting: STAR TREK, coming MAY 2009 and we'll be there! LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The bridge of the starship Enterprise is filling up. Chris Pine, who had been in talks to join the cast of J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" flick, will play the young James Kirk, while Karl Urban will take on the role of Dr. Leonard McCoy, distributor Paramount confirmed. They join previously announced cast members Zachary Quinto as Vulcan scientist Spock, Simon Pegg as engineer Scotty, John Cho as helmsman Sulu, Zoe Saldana as communications officer Uhura and Anton Yelchin as navigator Chekov. Leonard Nimoy, who played Enterprise science officer Spock in the 1960s TV series and six "Star Trek" feature films, also will appear as an older version of the Vulcan. Eric Bana, the star of Steven Spielberg's "Munich" and Ang Lee's "Hulk," is playing a villain in the "Trek" film, which begins shooting in November and is due out in May 2009. Abrams, creator of "Lost" and director of "Mission: Impossible III," is keeping the plot secret for the film that follows the early days of the "Star Trek" crew, which was led by William Shatner as the bold Capt. Kirk. Pine's credits include the movies "Smokin' Aces" and "Just My Luck," while Urban appeared in two of the "The Lord of the Rings" movies and "The Bourne Supremacy." RONALD HELD Private Researcher In this presentation, lecturer Ronald Held will briefly cover three sets of slower than light but relativistic propulsion methods, the last is the antimatter rocket. Mr. Held holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As a private researcher influenced by Star Trek, one of his interests is in faster than light travel.

Each day of the convention will feature a fast-paced fun filled no minimum auction which offers attendees the opportunity to pick up great Star Trek and sci-fi media collectibles at a fraction of their true value. Much of the material is hand-signed by celebrities and these auctions prove to be a great place to purchase autographed items because you know that they are legitimate and gotten through deals that Creation has with the stars when they appear at our conventions.
