What to expect: One hour on-stage talks and Q & A from our celebrities, special presentations on Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, videos, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, parties, charity fund raising, a giant Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis vending room (filled with tons of AUTHENTIC LICENSED merchandise and collectibles) and tons of fellow fans! Come be part of the celebration of the world's number one genre television series!

Convention Etiquette: Fans have the chance at Creation events to ask their favorite celebrities questions during their appearances. We do ask, as a courtesy to the rest of the audience, that you do not ask for hugs, kisses, favors, autographs, or telling them that you love them (we all do that's why we're there!) While this might be fun for you it isn't fair to everyone else to see over and over again. Let's make the appearances of our favorite celebrities interesting with good thought provoking questions.

The 2009 Official STARGATE SG-1/ALANTIS/UNIVERSE Convention was a unique smashing success: wonderful guests and fans having a blast over the weekend. Of all the Stargate events we do the Los Angeles one is the place with the most intimate theatre and most interaction with the stars. Check out the cool photographs from 2009 below and make your plans to be with us in 2010 as we roll out the red carpet for our fellow Stargate fans!

We are continuing the tradition of having our Official FARSCAPE Convention in the same hotel, the same weekend (BEN BROWDER has already tentatively confirmed for an appearance). That means that attendees at both shows will have the opportunity to get autographs and photo ops with ALL the celebrities and our parties and breakfasts will have stars from both. And Gold Weekend Patrons from either show can attend the other FREE (space permitting in general admission sections) and this worked out tremendously well in 2009.

Now if you know Creation Entertainment, you know we're always trying to make things MORE exciting (and crazy) for our loyal attendees (many have been with us for years and years) and so for the 2010 Stargate/Farscape Weekend we are adding ANOTHER cool convention the same weekend: It is Creation's Salute to FIREFLY, BUFFY & ANGEL, and DOLLHOUSE! Same rules apply: all guests available for autographs and photo ops to all attendees and GOLD WEEKEND PATRONS at any convention are welcomed FREE into the other (space permitting in the general admission sections!)

GUEST APPEARANCES

ALL GUESTS are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict. Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not (we always try to book replacements) and therefore we can not issue admission ticket or ticket package refunds if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Of course we will always refund separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel.

The vast majority of our guest celebrities take questions from the audience during their on-stage time. Therefore it is incumbent upon those that ask questions to make them ones that allow our mutual shared time with the celebrities to be enjoyable, interesting and entertaining for all (including the guest). Asking for hugs, telling stars we love them (we all do, that's why we're here), giving gifts, getting into long personal stories, or worse, is not acceptable for this format and, in fact, is quite self-centered when you are in essence "representing" all of fandom to a celebrity. Join us in trying to make this convention the best entertainment for everyone!

GOLD WEEKEND ADMISSION PACKAGES

Here's what you get when you go "GOLD" for the weekend!
It is the most upscale way to attend the full weekend.

1) The absolute best reserved seats in the main theatre where all our major guests appear! These seats are YOURS, come and go, all three days! At this early time you seating will be placed to the rear or sides of the wonderful fans who pre-signed up at the 2009 convention.

2) Complimentary, non-rushed, in-person autographs with great guests, including: JOE FLANIGAN, CHRISTOPHER HEYERDAHL and more to be announced.

3) First to get autographs: we go row by row: you are in the front rows: you get the idea!

4) Same reserved seating for our FRIDAY NIGHT Celebrity Cabaret, where selected guests do what they do best: entertain!

5) Complimentary admission to our SATURDAY NIGHT DESSERT AND COCKTAIL PARTY! Mix and mingle with fellow fans and selected guests. AUTOGRAPH TICKETS

Autograph and Photo Op Tickets do not include admission to the convention, and you must have an admission ticket or package to get autographs or photo ops.

Here's the chance to receive in-person autographs from your favorite sci-fi celebrities. Note that if you have a particular autograph as part of your ticket package and want a 2nd (or more) signatures you can have all your signing done at once when you first go up to the celebrity. Autographs are done in a non-rushed comfortable manner.

Autographs Note: Patrons must bring an item for celebrities to sign. You can bring something from home or purchase a photo or other collectible in the vendors room. Please feel free to purchase as many autograph tickets of a particular celebrity as you'd like.

Guests appear ONE day of the convention, so therefore their autographing and/or photo ops take place that day, except in VERY rare occasions which will be noted. If you are not attending all days of the convention it is wise to wait until specific days of appearance are announced before purchasing autographs or photo ops. You must have an admission ticket to the convention to get autographs or photo ops.

Autograph and Photo Op Tickets do not include admission to the convention, and you must have an admission ticket or package to get autographs or photo ops.

Due to security considerations and guest concerns we can no longer facilitate the giving of gifts to guests at the photo op sessions. We will be happy to accept gifts for our celebrity guests after 3pm daily at registration and we will gather them and make sure the guests get them. Please note that because guests usually travel by plane they are unable to take gifts home with them. We hope you understand the security issues involved. Thank you!

Parking: The hotel offers special parking rates for those coming to the convention of $15 a day (self parking) and $23 a day (valet).

Creation Entertainment holds a "block" of rooms for our attendees as described above. These blocks of rooms have a lower rate than standard rates at the hotel, but they also have a "cut-off" point after which hotels may choose to revert back to their own higher rates for our customers. Usually this cut off date is one month prior to the event, but this does vary. Therefore it is always wise to book your rooms for our conventions as early as possible.
